No it's not a cinematic masterpiece like "Gone With The Wind", and it's not supposed to be. "Escape Plan: The Extractors" is why you go to see an action adventure film, to be entertained and escape into world that has you hanging on for a ride. WOW, this movie does all of that and more.
John Herzfeld has made the best installment of this movie franchise. This movie is raw, intense, and gritty. The action and fight scenes are AWESOME, and the way that it is shot makes you feel like you are in the middle of it.
Stallone hasn't been an action hero for 40 years by accident. He knows how it's done and delivers.
